| Nevaeh is a community-based, grassroots, non-profit organization committed to helping address the growing crises plaguing Rochester NY. Since March 2002, Nevaeh has helped prevent, reduce and stop alcohol/drug abuse and gang violence by providing positive outlets for the community at large. Nevaeh currently operates its aerobics class, CYO basketball league, drama club, job readiness training, mentoring, step teams and tutoring programs at the Unity Health Recreation Center, 865 W Main St., Rochester NY. The organization is based on spiritual principles, and adheres to the ancient African adage "It takes a village to raise a child." Our volunteer staff (25+) and our generous sponsors contribute to the overall success of Nevaeh.
